Formidable Fusion has branched out to become an association for our non profit projects and charity collaborations. The team felt by splitting the company into two clear branches; we can create more clarity, focus and promotion for our social society aspect and ethical vision. Moreover, The Formidable Fusion Association can now attract awareness specifically for charitable and social projects. We are privileged to take on this mantle in order promote charities, worthy causes and social issues. This is so that we can raise awareness and make significant changes to the individual as well as society through performing arts.
Our organisation's impact has a broad scale. We are incline to work with charities and artists, thus always addressing a social issue with each production we create. We are firm believers that performance and art should be used to create a change, to heighten awareness and to make a social difference.
Our showcases are educational, and comment on the relevant social issues that affect us today e.g. the Literacy Showcase examined 'social justice in literacy.' We then went on to explore with Kwame Kwei-Armah the relevance of education within literacy skills- in life and during an artistic performance. We then relayed this interview back to the audience, allowing the audience to explore a social issue whilst being entertained.
The social impact is heightened by the charities we work with. We always donate to the charities we work with, from the profits of the showcase. Working with charities ensures we have the accurate facts and mission statement of the charity portrayed within each production. This means that we are in effect transferring an educational and factual showcase to the audience. The social impact is then again portrayed as the money we donate to them and the awareness we raise to our target audience on their behalf.
